George Robarts (baritone) & Anna Michels (piano) for the City Music Foundation lunchtime series

A high-energy programme of theatre songs by Kurt Weill, from his riotous early work in 1920s Berlin to his Broadway collaborations with Ira Gershwin, Oscar Hammerstein and Ogden Nash in the 1940s.

Programme to include classics such as “My Ship” and “September Song”, plus hits from “The Threepenny Opera” in George’s own award-winning translations.
